Blackfeet Community Hospital is hiring a long-term OB/GYN Locum Physician (MD/DO) in Browning, Montana. This is a government-owned and operated facility providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care.

- 2–3 years of post-residency experience needed
- Previous locum tenens and IHS facility experience preferred
- Board Certification in Obstetrics & Gynecology required
- Must hold a valid U.S. medical license (any state)
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications required
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care to patients across all stages of life
- Manage prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum care
- Perform gynecological surgeries and procedures within scope of privileges
- Collaborate with nursing, midwifery, and other healthcare team members to ensure coordinated patient care
- Participate in on-call coverage for obstetrics and emergencies as assigned
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding reproductive health and family planning
- Document all encounters and procedures in accordance with facility policy and federal regulations
- Participate in quality improvement and peer review initiatives

Requirements
- Active, Unrestricted Medical License — Must hold a current and unrestricted license to practice medicine in Montana or any U.S. state, the District of Columbia, or the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
- Board Certification/Eligibility — Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology through the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) or the American Osteopathic Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (AOBOG).
- Active DEA Registration — Required to prescribe and manage controlled substances.
- Certifications — Must have current certifications in:
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Citizenship — Must be a U.S. citizen residing primarily within the United States.
- Experience — Minimum of 2 years of relevant OB/GYN clinical experience post-residency required.
- Credentialing — Must complete all credentialing requirements within 10 days of offer acceptance.
- Federal Security Clearance — Must be willing and able to complete and pass the federal background and security clearance process.
