Description
Mill Creek, LLC, specializes in the outfitting of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and technology (FFE&T), medical equipment planning, space planning, transition planning, move management, interior design, and procurement for healthcare, government, and private sector clients across the nation.
We are seeking a Project Manager for our Field Team! This is a remote opportunity! The Transition Planner must be detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of managing high-stakes, complex projects within a collaborative team environment. Must have exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking skills. Travel of 50% or more is required. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Prior involvement in IO&T services for healthcare or military medical facilities is highly valued.
- ability to manage complex logistics and timelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, experience with Audaxware or similar FF&E/transition planning tools is a plus
- Ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, vendors, and tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with military or federal healthcare systems and documentation
- Willingness to travel and be onsite during critical project phases
- Familiarity with the planning, procurement, installation, and closeout processes for FF&E
- Experience with DRMO/DLA processes and DD1354, DD250 handoff documentation preferred.
- Ability to develop and maintain detailed transition schedules aligned with construction and activation milestones.
- Working knowledge of DoD/DHA guidelines, UFC/UFGS specs, and accreditation standards (Joint Commission readiness)

Requirements
- Must have experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access) and scheduling software (Primavera and/or MS Project).
- Experience with Federal contracting is required.
- Experience in and ability to utilize the 3-phase inspection program.
- Must be well versed in broad based Architectural, Engineering and construction principles
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have B.S. degree in engineering, architecture or construction management or 10 years of direct experience.
- Minimum 10 years of construction supervisory experience with at least 3 years in a project manager or superintendent position on similar projects.
- Demonstrated experience estimating and managing self-performed work activities and subcontracted work.
- Professional credentials – either Engineer in Training (EIT), or Associate Constructor (AC) in good standing.
- Must be able to effectively communicate in English, both written and spoken word.
- Working knowledge of architectural, mechanical and Heavy Civil Work.
- Have a high level of proficiency with spreadsheets, email and other software used in the construction industry.
- Current safety credentials to include OSHA 30, 1st Aid and CPR.
- Current CQC certification issued by USACE a plus.
- General Contractor’s License a plus.
